The cheapest seat on NK Jaya is a Superior cabin from IDR 4,350,000 (≈ USD 267) per person on the 3 days 2 nights open trip. Park tickets, flights, hotels, insurance and tips are separate. Prices are the 2026 card. For a group, a whole-boat charter can work out cheaper per head.

Superior is the budget seat. It's on the lower deck of both boats, with portholes, a queen bed, a private bathroom and AC. Two friends sharing a Superior each pay IDR 4,350,000 (≈ USD 267), and that's the cheapest bed on either boat.

Here's what the money buys: a private bathroom and AC in every cabin, a sundeck, lazy chairs and a jacuzzi, and a route through the park's main snorkel and trek stops.
The sum in lines
Start with the fare, then add what it doesn't cover.

Park tickets: pay online, in your own name
Park tickets are never in the fare. You buy them online, one per visitor, and carry the e-ticket.
International visitors pay IDR 250,000 per day. Domestic visitors pay IDR 50,000 on weekdays and IDR 75,000 at weekends. Ranger and pier charges are extra. Those figures follow the national fee rule, PP 36/2024. Some blogs quote higher totals that roll in conservation and harbor charges, so compare like with like.
A daily visitor cap has applied since 1 April 2026, so buy early in the busy months. Each ticket belongs to one visitor, and the name should match the passport. The calculator below does the multiplication for your group and your days.

Next come park tickets. Each of you buys one online, per day, and the calculator above multiplies it out for your days and your passports. Then add flights, the hotel the night before, insurance and some cash for tips and small buys ashore.
The total holds once you have the date in writing. Until then, treat it as a plan.
Where the money goes furthest
A Superior cabin is on the lower deck with portholes, not the big windows of a Full Ocean. That's the trade, and if the saving costs you sleep, the step up to IDR 5,350,000 (≈ USD 328) is worth it.
Season moves the rest of the budget. July and August are the busiest months and late December fills fast, while January and February are the quietest. Lock your date before you book flights.
Safety isn't where you save. Both boats carry a life raft, life jackets and a first aid kit, and we'd walk away from any boat that doesn't.
Two friends or ten: when the whole boat is cheaper per head
A charter buys the whole boat. One price covers 1 to 10 guests (1 to 20 on a full day), and extra guests can be added up to the boat's limit.
