Nine stops and a sunset to start

Nine numbered stops in three days. NK Jaya 1 and NK Jaya 2 run them in exactly the same order, and both 2026 price lists mark this plan Most Popular.

Pickup is 10.00 at your hotel or the airport, with a welcome drink. The boat sails at 10.30. Day 1 eases you in.

First comes a trek on Kelor Island, then lunch. Next is a snorkel at Manjarite, with free time and a snack. The day ends with sunset at Kalong Island, then dinner and free time.

  • Kelor, stop 1. 15 to 30 minutes uphill, then the bay.
  • Manjarite, stop 2. Mask on, no clock to beat.
  • Kalong, stop 3. Sunset, and the bats after it.

Where the boat spends the night depends on the weather and the captain's decision that day. This is the private-charter plan. The open trip is also 3 days and 2 nights, and its stops are confirmed when you book.

Day 3

What happensSailing from previous stopHave ready

·Arrive in Labuan Bajo around 11:30, at your hotel or the airport around 12:30—flight after 14:00

Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.

Day 2: five stops and the long swim

This is the big day. Padar Island first, around breakfast. Then a snorkel at Long Beach, better known as Pink Beach.

After that comes the trek on Komodo Island, then lunch. Taka Makassar follows, with free time and a snack. Manta Point closes the day, with dinner and free time after.

  • Padar, stop 4. Ridge at the start of day 2.
  • Long Beach, stop 5. Shallow reef, check the tide.
  • Taka Makassar, stop 7. Sandbank that only shows at low tide.
  • Manta Point, stop 8. A drift, with mantas hoped for and never promised.

Manta Point is a drift with a current, not a swimming pool. The current runs from mild to strong depending on the tide. Both boats carry life jackets, and nobody will think less of you for wearing one there.

Five of the nine stops are in the water. Pack two swimsuits, because one is always still wet from the morning.

Day 3: Siaba, then home

Slow morning. You snorkel at Siaba Island around breakfast, then have an early lunch. The boat is due back in Labuan Bajo around 11.30, and you're at your hotel or the airport around 12.30.

Book your flight home for after 14:00. That gives you time for a shower, a proper lunch on land and a bit of slack if the boat comes in later than planned because the sea had its own ideas about the morning.

If you want one reason to pick three days over two, it's this morning. The 2 days 1 night trip ends with a trek and a late return. This one ends with a swim and lunch.

What three days cost, and what stays outside

The whole boat for 1 to 10 guests is IDR 56,000,000 (≈ USD 3,436) on NK Jaya 1 and IDR 51,000,000 (≈ USD 3,129) on NK Jaya 2. Each extra guest costs IDR 2,000,000 (≈ USD 123). The overnight limit is 14 guests on NK Jaya 1 and 12 to 13 on NK Jaya 2. The table works out the cost per head for your group.

Open-trip prices work differently. They're per person, from IDR 4,350,000 (≈ USD 267) for a Superior cabin.

The charter fare covers your cabin, the chef and crew, meals, water, snacks, coffee and tea, the tender, snorkel gear and life jackets. Park tickets come on top: three daily tickets at IDR 250,000 each for a foreign visitor.

A guide and photo or video coverage aren't included on a private charter at any length. We quote them separately in writing. If a boat can't sail, the replacement-boat guarantee applies: a boat of equal or higher class on the same dates at no extra cost, or a refund within 14 days.

FAQ

Which stops on the 3 days 2 nights route are snorkel stops?

Five of the nine: Manjarite on day 1, Long Beach (Pink Beach), Taka Makassar and Manta Point on day 2, and Siaba Island on day 3. Kelor, Padar, Komodo Island and the Kalong sunset are treks or viewing stops.

What time do we get home on day 3?

The boat is due back in Labuan Bajo around 11.30, and you're at your hotel or the airport around 12.30. Book the flight for after 14:00. The itinerary can change with the weather, so a later afternoon flight gives you room.

Is Manta Point on day 2 or day 3?

Day 2. It's the eighth numbered stop and the last of that day, with dinner and free time after. Day 3 starts with Siaba Island. The exact time in the water follows the tide and current, and the captain sets it on the day.

Why is the 3 days 2 nights charter marked Most Popular?

Both 2026 price lists print Most Popular beside it. It's the shortest route that reaches both Taka Makassar and Manta Point, with five snorkel stops and a day-3 return around 11.30, so you can fly home the same afternoon. The whole boat is IDR 56,000,000 (≈ USD 3,436) on NK Jaya 1.

Can the route change after I book?

Yes. Every itinerary can change with the weather. The captain decides on the day, and a changed route costs you nothing extra. If the boat can't sail at all, the replacement-boat guarantee applies. We'll tell you about a change as soon as the captain tells us.
